NEXT BLOCK CLUB MEETING 3/9/77 AT THE FIREHOUSE. (TIME 7:30PM) LORETTA HOWELL CANDIDATE FOR CITY CLERK AND POSSIBLY COUNCILMAN ANDREW ISSACS TO BE IN ATTENDANCE. IMPORTANT MATTERS OF OUR CONCERN TO BE DISCUSSED.
A COMMUNITY IS ONLY AS STRONG AS THE RESIDENTS WHO LIVE IN IT. LOTS OF RESIDENTS SIT AROUND AND ARE DISATISFIED WITH THINGS: BUT THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO OR WHO TO GO TO. OUR BLOCK CLUB GIVES RESIDENTS A CHANCE TO GET THE NEIGHBORHOOD TOGETHER AND KEEP IT TOGETHER, AN OPPORTUNITY TO TACKLE NEIGHBORHOOD PROBLEMS AND SOLVE THEM
(11 VOICES ARE MUCH BETTER AND LOUDER THAN 1)
A VEHICLE FOR GETTING TO KNOW OTHER FAMILIES AND MAKING THE NEIGHBORHOOD MORE SAFE.
