I'd like to say with all this talk about illegal B&B's, why do you have advertising of daily TVU's on your web site? There are places advertised for $1,000 a day. Yes, daily. No wonder people do it. Also, they know there is absolutely NO enforcement. I called DPP 2 months ago to ask them to have the signs from a contractor removed from Aalapapa that have been there for over a year. Nothing is enforced. I think we need to find a way to get DPP to step up to the plate and actually do something after SB750 is made law.
Does anyone ever read these discussions? Nothing has been posted for years.

B&B, Signs, SB750 and Discussion
Hawaii Tourism Authority and the Honolulu Board of Realators are allowed access to the site by the State and the City government. The City & County of Honolulu provide this site to our Boards. The KNB 31 places no advertisements in our postings, nor are we allowed to do so as has been directed by the Board. It is noted that signs need to be removed on Aalapapa. We will follow up on that issue. SB750 offers additional tools for DPP to enforce unpermitted activities in our residential neighborhoods. We do read the discussions and are often the initiators as well. Thank you for your valuable comments.
