Denver Police spokesperson Sonny Jackson described the incidents as "acts of aggression that are concerning and are criminal in nature."
All of the incidents have happened in the one concentrated area between 1st Avenue on the south and 13th Avenue on the north and York Street on the east and Speer Boulevard on the west.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a stocky build. Police say he's between 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. They say the suspect has black, possibly spiked hair and may have had a mustache. The man wore a baseball cap in some of the incidents.
There are five different victims so far. All of the incidents happened in the evening hours.
Jackson warned women to be cautious in this area.
"Carry your cell phone, be aware of your surroundings, stay in well lit areas, walk with authority and don't walk alone if you don't have to," Jackson advised.
If you know a man who is approaching women like this or know a man in this area fitting this description call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You could be eligible for a cash reward.
