Nov 7, 2009 1:00 pm: CR 672, no accidnets, from Tordal Way to Bemrose, snow has melted off; from Bemrose up tor house (474) snow packed, slush and spots of ice; past our house (474) parts of the road the sow has melted off, other parts slushy, icy in front of Craig's house. From the last house on 672, the trail up to 670 is walkable, soft snow, a small berm at the top where it comes to CR 670. Looks like a truck tried to go through and did not make it.
CR 670 the snow has melted off in parts, other parts slushy
CR 671 looks snow packed, may be slushy in parts (didn't walk it, just looked up it)
CR 674 at the top, where it runs into CR 672 most snow is melted off
CR 676 some snow melted off, slushy up to West Hossier Diversion, then a sheet of ice
Past the sheet of ice, snow has melted off all the way to a little past the first phone pole. Past that berm, it is packed and walkable, no snowshoes needed all the way to the East Hossier Diversion.
Remember though, as it gets cold again tonight, all of that slush will turn to ice, esp. in front of Craig, Inger, and Tim's homes at the upper part of CR 672
