Teen Volunteer Program

Have a fun summer and gain valuable work experience by volunteering for the Parks and Recreation Department. A limited number of teen volunteers are assigned at Centers, KIDCO sites and City pools to help out with summer recreation programs.
13-17-year-olds need to register now for summer placement.
Summer program dates are June 1-July 25.
Registration cost: $11
Volunteer's schedule is determined by the site and the program needs.
All aquatic volunteers must have completed the Jr. Lifeguard/WSI training.
If you register for a KIDCO or center program, you will receive a list of available assignments and the orientation dates. You must attend an orientation to be eligible to be placed as a volunteer.
Every effort is made to place teens at their requested location but this is not always possible.
