In light of recent activity with our board at CG. I think it would be nice to have background checks done on anyone wishing to be on our board. I think we would want to think about people convicted of certain offenses serving on our HOA Board. At least we would be able to take into consideration, the degree of their offenses and other mitigating factors.
I am not saying anyone with a conviction should not be able to serve. What I am saying is we need to be informed. Being informed would allow us to decide if this would be a good or bad thing for our community.
