According to the June 08 Newsletter recognition has been made towards our need of some sort of amenities for families to enjoy. Yes, I agree that "these are pretty high items" but, let's see:
1: We can keep flushing our funds toward a greenbelt issue and yes of course the attorney will advise to keep pursing, how else does he pay his bills.
or
2: To put our money toward something beneficial. Something that families can enjoy. We finally have something for the younger kids but how-about the rest of us. A basketball court would be nice. And really, does it cost all that much. I don't think so!
It was also mentioned in the newsletter that it "Cost So Much to Maintain The Common Area". The last time I checked mowing is all that has taken place.
The mentioned (newsletter) upcoming changes aren't really inpressive. Street repairs???, rules posted on the playground and yard of the month. If this is the most progress we have to look forward to then consider my house "For Sale".
On a closing note Lone Oak Parke is with an e.
