Location and History

The Annecy neighborhood is located in the southeast corner of Mecklenburg County within the Matthews Township. It consists of 128 houses each on approximately 1/3 acre parcels, built between 1988 and 1991 by Pulte Homes. Annecy is located between Northeast Parkway and Rice Road and consists of Annecy Drive, Tanfield Drive (south of Rice Road), Newby Lane, and Calpher Court.

On behalf on the Annecy Neighborhood Association, I welcome you to our neighborhood website! We hope that you find the information beneficial and that you will enjoy living in Annecy as much as we do. The Annecy Neighborhood Association is all about Neighbors Helping Neighbors. We exist to ensure that the Quality of Life and the Appearance of our Community is maintained to high standards. We all know it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the living surroundings of any community. We are very committed to adhering to the codes and ordinances of our Association, the Town of Matthews and Mecklenburg County in order to maintain our Property Values.

Becoming a Member

The Annecy Neighborhood Association welcomes all residents to join and participate. There truly is strength in numbers! Membership fees are just $60.00 per year! You may have noticed that we use the terminology of “fees” rather than “dues”. The reason we use the term “fee” is that the money we collect annually is primarily used for the upkeep of our neighborhood. This includes monthly bills for the sprinkler system and street lights located at the front entrance of the neighborhood as well as for the maintenance of both entrances (landscaping), the production of our Quarterly Newsletter (The Annecy Times) and annual Neighborhood Directory, and last, our Yard of the Month Committee selects the five homes throughout the summer months (May-September) and one "Holiday House" in December that will each receive a $25 gift card to Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Maintenance Fees

While Maintenance Fees (dues) are not mandatory in our neighborhood, we encourage ALL residents to participate. As we try to keep up with rising cost to beautify our neighborhood, we need your help.
