Stumptown Roundabout to be Closed for 4 to 5 Weeks Beginning Monday, April 25th for NCDOT Reclamation and Resurfacing Project – Note Detour Information
North Carolina Department of Transportation crews will begin work Monday, April 25th resurfacing and reclaiming the roundabout at Stumptown Road and Hugh Torance Parkway .
The Town of Huntersville received confirmation today from NCDOT that, as part of the Stumptown Road reclamation & resurfacing project, the NCDOT contractor intends to close Stumptown Road/Hugh Torance Parkway roundabout on Monday, April 25, 2011 with work expected to take approximately 4 – 5 weeks.
All three approaches to the roundabout will be closed with bi-directional detours signed as follows:
Stumptown Road – Ranson Road – Gilead Road – Wynfield Creek Parkway – Hugh Torance Parkway
or
Stumptown Road – US 21 – NC73 – Northcross Drive – Stumptown Road
