Membership in the Morrison Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is available to all parents or guardians of children attending the Archie T. Morrison School and all teachers, staff and administrators of the school.
The Morrison School is extremely fortunate to have an active Parent Teacher Organization. The parents work closely with the Morrison staff to promote programs and activities designed to encourage a positive relationship between home and school. By working together as a team the value of our children?’s education is significantly enhanced.

PTO meetings are held one evening per month to discuss events and activities. An agenda is published prior to each meeting. The PTO Treasurer, The Parent Advisory Council and the Cultural Arts Committee provide status reports. This forum also allows for the teacher representatives and the principal to remark on current school events. All parents are encouraged to attend.

Fundraisers are held twice per year. PTO sponsored events include cultural arts programs, field trips, family nights and ?“5th Grade Week?” activities. The PTO funds Weekly Readers, homework assignment books, music recorders and the absentee telephone line as well as school improvements and supplies.

Our children?’s education is a committed partnership between home and school.

Please plan on sharing your time and talents with your PTO.

*Holiday Fair Bargain Shopper Alert ?– Attention all shoppers! Please be on the look out this summer for items for this years Holiday Fair being held in December. Items are needed for boys, girls, men, women and pets. Please purchase 23 of each item if possible (one for each classroom). Please spend no more than $2.00 on each item. Save your receipts and you?’ll be reimbursed in the fall. Handmade ornaments are also a hit if you?’re crafty. Thank you in advance for your efforts!
