We are thrilled to announce that all nine open PTO Officer positions have been filled for next year! Our committed volunteers are:
Co-President – One position
Amy Carnicelli will be assuming the position of Co-President. Amy was our PTO Hospitality Chairperson this year. She has done an outstanding job building a fun and social atmosphere within our school! Amy has two children attending Morrison. In addition she was an MCAS Tutor and taught Junior Achievement. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
Secretary – One position
Diane Lutz is our new PTO Secretary. Diane has two children at Morrison and a 2-year-old. She is Mr. Power’s Classroom Coordinator. Diane’s organizational skills and enthusiasm are a great addition to the PTO.
Hospitality Committee – Three Positions
Lori Kephart, Kerrie Doherty and Nancy Ceriani will join forces as our new Hospitality Committee.
Lori has three children attending Morrison. This is Lori’s first year as a Morrison parent. She has been involved since day one! Lori is responsible for all of the bright and welcoming decorations added to Morrison this year. We have relied heavily on Lori for all kinds of help throughout the school year. She is always willing to lend a hand!
Kerrie is the mother of four children ranging in ages from 16 (a former Morrison student) to 4. She has one child currently attending Morrison. Kerrie is a Classroom Coordinator for Mrs. Fontaine. She was a huge contributor to the Spring Fling serving on the decoration committee and soliciting numerous businesses for raffle donations. She was also a Junior Achievement volunteer. Kerrie’s positive attitude and commitment are a welcome addition to our PTO.
Nancy is also a new Morrison parent this year. She is the mother of three with a kindergarten student and two preschool aged children. She is also a former 2nd grade teacher in Quincy. She volunteered in Mr. Diamante’s classroom throughout the school year. Her family’s contribution to both our fall and spring fundraisers was overwhelming! Nancy’s experience and excitement are wonderful additions to our Hospitality Committee.
Arts Council - Two positions
Karen Standley and Joanna Newton will team up to manage our Art’s Council.
Karen has two children attending Morrison and a pre-school aged child. Karen is Mrs. Mutschler’s Classroom Coordinator and volunteers in both of her children’s classrooms. Karen attends and participates in PTO meetings regularly. Karen’s willingness to get involved is a gift!

She too was a Junior Achievement Volunteer. Joanna’s teaching experience and eagerness to volunteer are greatly appreciated!
School Advisory – Two positions
Cindy DeCristofaro and Stacie O’Callahan will share the School Advisory position.
Cindy is new to Morrison this year too. She has one child at Morrison. Cindy volunteered at the Holiday Fair and Book Fair and baked for the Election Day Sale. She also had perfect attendance at the PTO meetings this year. Cindy’s warm personality and communication skills will be perfect for her new position!
Stacie has been a Morrison parent for six years. She has one child currently attending Morrison. Stacie volunteered on the 5th grade yearbook committee last year and is an active PTO member. Her experience as a teacher and her willingness to get involved are precisely what’s required for school advisory!
Please join us in congratulating our new PTO officers and take a moment to thank them for volunteering their time and talents to the PTO!
Fondly,
