We bought a home in Chimney Lakes 9 years ago and the price difference for the ''same'' house in CL and Mandarin was pretty significant (we moved from Mandarin). I wonder if the pricing disparity will start to slip now that there is so much new ''upscale'' development planned for our area. Watermill and Bridgeview are two developments well underway and Oak Leaf is just starting - pricing seems quite a bit higher than the ''norm'' for our area. Also, some of the development off Cheswick in the Clay area is more upscale. Adding to this are plans for shops, libraries, parks, schools, a mall, etc in this area as well. Just wondering what the general opinion is on the impact to property values ..
