To the concerned

Posted in: Cherry Avenue

From long experience I have learned that when there is a problem we don?’t need to do something - - we need to learn something. The problem is that Cherry Ave. Neighborhood Association with borders of Irvington, Tucson Blvd, Drexel and Park Ave are faced by an invasion of 165 Sex Offenders/Felons. There are 7 schools within our confines. We need to have absolute assurance that there will be no danger to our children, wives or our neighborhood. Of secondary concern is the effect the presence these uninvited have on our property values. At my insistence, Abe Marquez, aide to Steve Leal, City Councilman of Ward 5 has requested Captain Perry Tarrant to schedule a meeting of all concerned at his offices at Santa Cruz Police Sub-Station at the NW corner of So. Park Ave and Fair Ave. for 1:30 P.M. on Friday the 1st day of September. Capt. Tarrant cannot attend but he will be represented by Officer Ramon.

I am enclosing e-mail from County attorney Brad Holland with references to Jim Cook, President of Dunbar Springs Neighborhood Association, and Mike White, V. President, Barbara Bixby and others. Also attached is a copy of Arizona Revised Statute 13-922 which clearly shows that ?“Pastor Randy Lyons?” who will be represented by ?“Pastor John?” is in violation to the State of Arizona Statues. We will not reveal this to ?“Pastor John?” at the meeting, but we will question him as to the safeguards they profess to have enforced. We will also attempt to establish who and how much money is being gained from this unwanted invasion. Having gained as much as we can from ?“Pastor John ?” we will excuse him and close the meeting. We will then let Captain Tarrant decide what action he should take.

Cordially,
