Attend the Willo Block Watch Captain's meeting on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Willow House, SE corner of 3rd Ave. & McDowell. At this meeting, (1) nominations for the 10-member Willo Block Watch Board, (2) organize a planning committee for the October National Night Out, (3) form a Block Watch grant-writing & fund implementation committee, and (4) open discussion and brainstorming on crime-fighting strategies. Everyone is welcome to attend!
