WOW....GAIN

Posted in: Westown Watch
What a very nice evening. I am so impressed by Project Challenge. Where can I drop a line to them to let them know how much I appreciated their help? The food was awesome (and helped a little that it was free)! But what impressed me was the changes that I have witnessed since.

I had the opportunity to tell some of the local police officers how upset I am at the drug use that goes on right in the public eye infront of the head shop behind Churches Chicken on 35th Avenue. And the gang activity that goes on in the new ''salon'' next to the head shop. Just yesterday I noticed there were several police cars over there and their seemed to be some ''unhappy customers''. Many times it feels as if we share the blight of our neighborhood but nothing seems to happen. I just wanted to share this one little thing that did!

Thanks again
