azschaefer...I was referring to the Board meeting when they wanted as an Executive session. I believe they can meet (or have executive sessions) as much as they would like. My point was, just because there are not public meetings every month doesn't mean the Board is not meeting more often and trying to get things accomplished.

I think what Meghan was referring to is Executive sessions, which the populous is not entitled to attend. And, Kachina, as I have said, has been put on notice. We have given them a deadline to act and due their job the way we see fit, not the way they want to do it. We do not have a contract with Kachina, it is an open contract, so we can dump them anytime we would like. If the board decides to put it out to bid, I will post here on the site for recomended companies and we will submit to as many as we can, or at least to the ones that we feel will serve our needs.

Why do we need to put them on notice with a deadline I think they have had plenty of time to do there job. Why give them a second chance? Even if they do well for a while I am sure they will drop the ball again and we will be back in the same boat, let's just remove them.

A couple of reasons. First, in the past, we have never expressed our sincere disappointment with their service, we have now. Second, we have a new property manager. The company is only as good as the manager is motivated. If we are not impressed with our new manager in the next couple of months, we already have a list of management companies that will put the bid out for. As I said before, if the board convenes and decides it's time for Kachina to go, I will ask here on the message board for any recomended companies and add them to the list for bids.
