I don't think that the proposed site proposal is fitting for Las Sendas for 2 main reasons. 1)It is inconsistent with the overall design criteria for the community and 2) The lack of economic viability will result in an empty building.

I agree with Bob Neely's comment. Isn't there an area already set aside for retail space across from the construction trailers off Mc Dowell?

Bad Zoning

Perhaps the central problem is the C-2 zoning that was established at some time in the past. There are ways to change this through, ultimately, an initiative. While the process would perhaps be overkill, the threat might be sufficient to stop the restaurant proposal.

The zoning is for a business park. I do not know what kinds of businesses comprise this zoning.
