Habitat for Humanity of Wood County

What Habitat is all about

Habitat for Humanity is based on Christian principles and has as its purpose providing modest but adequate housing for those in need. The families chosen do ''sweat equity'' during construction and are then granted a no interest, no profit mortgage.

To be able to provide housing Habitat needs the following 3Ms

Money

To purchase land and any materials or services that have not been donated we need money. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductable.

Materials

Any and all materials needed to build decent but modest houses are welcomed as donations. As with money the value of donated materials is tax deductable.

Muscle
Volunteer labor is the back bone of Habitat for Humanity construction. All levels of skill are both needed and welcome
