About the Neighborhood - Claymont

Claymont is located 20 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport, just north of Wilmington, Delaware. The town is a very diverse area with many schools, community services, and businesses. You may have heard of the Claymont Renaissance, a huge project that involves the rebuilding of the old Brook View townhome complex and the revamping of Philadelphia Pike, the main road that services Claymont. Ashbourne Hills

Ashbourne Hills is a community of 607 houses, making it the largest development in Claymont. The community is comprised of ranch and split-level single-family homes, that vary in individual style and size. There is a good mix of young and older residents, and there is a large number of families with school-age children. Ashbourne Hills is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Claymont because of its convenient location, friendly neighbors, and of course its strong and active Civic Association!

About our association

Ashbourne Hills Civic Association

This is a volunteer organization of Ashbourne Hills residents who manage the functions of the neighborhood. These functions include the Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, snow plow maintenance, and coordinating resident concerns to the local government representatives.

Join the Association

What would you like to do in the neighborhood? The association has several committees from the Welcoming Committee to the Social Committee. Lend a helping hand and have fun in the process. Can you cook or bake or maybe just take pictures at an event? The association could use your help.

Dues

All homeowners in Ashbourne Hills are required to pay their annual dues of $25 per household. These dues pay for snowplowing, the easter egg hunt, halloween parade and advertising for the community yard sale.
