Ashbourne Hills is full of rich history. Our homes were built in the '50s and some of our residents have been here since its birth! Feel free to contribute any tid-bits of info or interesting stories you may have by emailing us.
This was found on a rafter in my laundry room. Notice the West Chester model is the larger with 4 BR/1.5 Baths, however the description is incorrect. In error, the descriptions were reversed for both models. So you have the West Chester model's description with the Nassau model's (3BR/1B) description and vice versa for the Nassau description.
Another error is the West Chester model photo. Apparently the model's photo is not exactly what the West Chester model physically looks like except it truly does not have a garage.
As we all know looking around our development, there are all sorts of variations. Some homes even have basements! Some are ranches and there are even several 5 BR homes with a different architectural design not depicted on the brochure. That's right full 5 BR, multilevel A-frame homes with a front porch to boot!. Perhaps the 5 BRs were built at a later phase aka, more baby boomers being born. I am sure the builder did what they could to attract their customers, especially those with several children.
Hear say told me the Nassau model sold for approximately $11,999 and the West Chester for approximately $12,999 . Options for the West Chester was an attached garage...or was that a later add-on?
It would be great for an orginal owner to fill in the blanks such as the orginal new home selling price for the Ranch and the 5 BR model.
