last night's selectmen's decision re: the new dpw leadership? i do not like how this new leadership came about. i feel it was a set-up and i wonder if we let a good man go simply for the sake of cronies. do we even have anyone in the position of leadership with the proper credentials for the post; will the town be harmed if we do not? once again one voice of reason made a gallant effort for credibility; alas, too much opposition to reason carried the decision. if i had an ounce of computer savvy i would post this on the frank report, but that venue is too sophisticated for my skills; so humor me here please. and just know, i know not messrs. whalen and reynolds, but i do feel the way they acquired their appointments is suspect.
