The Park People, through its Denver Digs Trees program, will be distributing low-cost and free street trees to Denver residents next spring. Denver Digs Trees distribution day is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2006 at six locations across Denver.
Street tree request forms are available now. These public street trees are available only to residents of the City & County of Denver. Since its beginning, The Park People?’s Denver Digs Trees program has helped distribute more than 27,000 trees in Denver. Next spring's varieties will include Northern Red Oak, Sunburst Honey Locust, Burgundy Belle Maple, Newport Plum, and Thunderchild Crabapple, among others.
