Who controls whether or not the Park West gates are open or closed?

Right now the gates are open for the construction workers. After Wilshire gets out of here, we (Parkwest homeowners) can decide when to close to the gates. The original plan is that they would be closed all the time. That?’s the best for security

Gate not working

I've been here over two years, now. The Phase II gate has never been very responsive. I noted that first gate will start opening if you signal it, even before you make the turn off of La Crosse. However, the second gate doesn't even respond when I'm 50 feet from it. I reported it to that property manager, who did nothing that I can tell. (Without any annual reports, it's hard to tell that they have done anything except take our money every month...)

Anyway, now I've noticed that the IN gate never seems to close any longer, even at night. I think it's busted, again. The gate guy was here twice in August .... but, to no avail.

I just don't like the gates and I don't enjoy driving over the metal rail they ride on. Wait till you have a party and get interupted a dozen times to buzz people in the gate - it makes me feel like I'm living in New Pork City !!
