The CCHOA official By-Laws Town Hall meeting is tonight, at Kiker.

It was moved to the Library and it is scheduled for 6:30 tonight.

The by-law changes are necessary and pretty straight forward. Unless we hear something new and different, you can expect them all to be on the CCHOA ballot at the annual members meeting in March.

Park West By-Laws

Like Circle C's HOA, the Park West by-laws were drafted in the same way. They are clearly written to give the developers every advantage.

We need to draft a new set of by-laws which reflect our new status and needs, and some of those changes we can take directly from the CCHOA by-law changes that will be placed on a ballot in the March Meeting.

Thankfully, one important difference in Park West is that we get one vote per lot. With CCHOA, the number of votes a member has is proportional to the value of their property, which takes a computer to sort out. There are litterally 7 million possible votes in CCHOA !? How insane was that idea ?
Worse, it will take a vote of 75% of the members - a nearly impossible task for such a large associtation to change the voting back to one vote per lot.
