There are a few places where the stone that is used in our houses is also used for retaining walls and landscaping.
The tree at the corner of Fox Glove and Tasajillo Trial with the circle of stone looks great with the retaining walls

Is there any way we can get the builders to donate the extra stone that is unusable in construction so Circle C Landscape can put it around the beds in our front yards? It can just line the green metal garden borders we have now. I know the labor isn't free, but maybe we could work something out? Every house has that stone in it, so it's a natural accent.

Hey, if someone would just dump a pile in front of my house, I'd use them! :)
I wonder how much the stone costs?
we'd like to help

Circle C Landscape has some of the best stone guys around. They have built all of the rock walls in Circle C and the dry stack walls you see everywhere. The stone that is used on your homes is fairly expensive, but I will be happy to contract Wilshire and Hammonds and see if some leftovers are available. Also, I will be happy to check to see if the guys building the stone wall down on Spruce Canyon have any extra. We picked some up from them earlier in the year. Good idea.
