Conversaton w/ Stratus
The most clarity I can offer is it has to be Steve B. On june 26th I was turning onto Slaughter and saw a pick up type truck and saw 2 guys w/ papers in their hands looking around. As soon as I got home I spoke with the gal at Stratus and she clearly told me that the land had been sold, (did not mention Steve B.) and that the 2 guys were going to build the storage unit. She then voluntered the info (I sware to this) that it WAS SOMEONE ON THE BOD! I choose not to ask to much because I thought that I could get more info out of here. I was also concerned at the time about track 110, behind me as it was kinda mentioned at the HOA meeting about the Wal-Mart. She told me that yes, a office complex was coming there (maybe 2 yrs because of economy) but that they had 250 something acres and that the complex would only be like 24 acres. That was the end of conversation. I think talking to Stratus would give actual clarification.
My opinion is that I would not want that type of commercial development in our residential area. I don't how how many out here have boats, maybe Stevie has one!

Now I did not want to waste my time typing his last name as I we all knew who I meant!
WE all know it's Stevie Bartlett! I don't know where he lives but I wonder if he would build something like this in his neighborhood.
I wonder how long the other BOD (no I did not say SOB) will continue living here as the development is coming. Once they do the cut through to Mopac on South Bay, next to Jimmy's O'Really's house, I wonder how long he'll be here also.
For all of you who don't appreciate sarcasm on this site, sometimes laughter, jokes or sarcasm is the way people deal with things that they feel are SO out of their control
as this is what is happening here in Circle C.
Thank GOD, yes I use that word (or Budda, Muhammid, Jesus, spirit) that Sal, Bill Gammons and others have put their personal time into exposing this disgusting GOOD OLD BOY ATTITUDE. Being that I am from another State, I never thought that this GOB network still exists but money clouds all reason & integrity!

I personally can't confirm the ''Storage Facility'' post below. I haven't done any research on it.
But, I can add the following. Someone in the thread said the BOD could be asked.

On 3/26/2003 at the annual meeting, the BOD handed out a guide that included 19 questions (They called them FAQ's). Number 8 asked for full biographies and open disclosure from our CCHOA BOD.
THE BOD RESPONSE in that same guide: ''The directors are happy to provide biographies and other information to the members, as they have done in the past.''
On 4/1/03 I sent a full disclosure request letter, with the 2 items below:
''I Sal Costello, a resident of Circle C, with dues paid in full, request the following:
?• Immediate full disclosure on Steve Bartlett, The Bartlett Group and any other individuals/entities he is involved with including Gary Bradley, Brad Buetel (cousin and business associate with Gary Bradley), Susan Hoover exposing any compensation up to the present (or any future planned compensation) that has to do with any business south west of Austin, TX.
?• I also request Immediate comprehensive full disclosure on Jim O'Reilly and Ken Rigsbee. Three sentences in our Annual report is unacceptable. Regarding Jim O'Reilly or Ken Rigsbee, have they or will they receive any compensation or business deals with Steve Bartlett or Gary Bradley for any development in Southwest Austin?''
On 5/9/03...After 5 weeks, I received this reply:
''The Association's current and former directors do not have any legal obligation to make the sweeping individual financial and business disclosures that you demand.''
