I look forward to seeing you at Kiker Elementary tomorrow night, May 4 from 7-9pm to hear the presentation from TxDot and the Regional Mobility Authority on the proposed toll roads.

This town hall meeting is designed as an opportunity for you to gain understanding of the proposal and have your questions answered. Then, I hope to see you again on Monday, May 10 at 6pm for the CAMPO public hearing at the LBJ Library Auditorium. It is important that you be there to voice your opinion to the CAMPO Board re the Toll Road Amendments to the CAMPO 2025 Plan.

Due to the expected large crowd, the location for the CAMPO Public Hearing regarding the proposed toll road plan has been changed from the
Joe Thompson Conference Center to the LBJ Library Auditorium - which is located south of the Thompson Center.

Wow!

I was late to the Toll Road Dog and Pony show, but man, what a turn out! I listened to Bod Day until I wanted to throw-up. I'm actually very much in favor of Toll Road, but not so fast....


I talked to no less than 10 people in the halls during the last hour of that meeting, and not one person had anything good to say about the propective toll. I was prepared to support a tiny toll - 10 cents for the 1 mile section, but MY GOD - 50-75 cents each way ???

There is no way I can see ANY justification for that kind of toll, just to exit Mopac on to Hwy 290 !!

That is litterally - Highway Robbery.


Sorry Bob, you must have been caught in some serious PA system feedback. No way I can go along with that plan.


To heck with Bob Day, we didn't elect that mouth piece. Lets go tell CAMPO, because we DO elect that team.

This won't fly. Our overpass was bought and paid for a long time ago. Just because it was late getting built is no justistification for a last minute Toll Road.
