Here's what I hope will happen over the next couple months in Circle C Ranch:

1. Amendments to the by-laws are voted on, increasing the board to at least 7-9 members.

2. A strong code of ethics also is voted in to prevent conflicts of interest, the appearance of conflicts of interest, and self dealing issues.

3. The community votes on whether to cancel the swim team contract -- regardless whether they stay or not, a vote one way or another will give this issue legitimacy, something it doesn't have up to now.

4. Completely open and full disclosure of the business affairs in my HOA. As it is now, we really don't know the whole picture, and it appears as though efforts to see the whole picture are stymied. Why? I still can't figure that out.

5. Finally, an assessment/voting system that is fair and equitable across the board. To me, that means one home = one vote, and HOA dues should be the same for each household. If the need to raise dues arises, then that issue should be put to the members for a vote and requires majority vote to pass.

Anyone who is empowered to make this happen, please help us. Question: given the latest developments in the HOA lawsuit, can we now move forward and resume our annual meeting to vote on all these open issues???

Bylaws - Get them out for review

The community needs to push the BOD to get the revised bylaws out to the members for review and vote.

Would BOD abide by the Laws?

We can revise the Bylaws as much as we want. But, if the Board does not abide by the rules of the law, revision of the Bylaws really means nothing.

In my opinion, our current Board is a cancerous tumor. We should have the surgery and remove the tumor first. Revision of the Bylaws is rehabilitation.

They don't realize it's broken!

Part of the problem is that folks around here don't really know things need fixin'.

This site has been one of the few places that open communication can occur without the folks at helm editing it first. (Yes they did try to shut it down) BUT, only a handful know it exists.

The responsiblity of all of us is to share with our neighboors as much as possible about why increasing the board to 7-9 people instead of the current 3, which only 2 live here and the 3rd is a developer is so important if we want to change the road that CCR is traveling. CCR has carried ''baggage'' since it started (Gary Bradley, Stratus etc) it would be so nice to live in an area that had a GOOD reputation other just our great schools (Kiker etc) which is why a lot of folks bought here to begin with.
