That is exactly how the governments of those communist countries control and manipulate the information. I am familiar with that because I was born and raised in one of those countries ?– China.

I personally do not mind having people post anonymously at all.

Homeowners should have the right to express their true feelings for some matters without fear of being identified by their neighbors.

I consider that as TRUE DEMOCRACY.

I personally have been attacked viciously many times by some homeowners who are loyal to the Developer and our old Board members. I admired their loyalty and didn?’t take that personally at all.

Features and Options

All Print publications, Newspapers, and Commercial web sites review and choose what they will print. They even edit letters, or print just the sections they think fit best. It's NOT a feature of this Neighborhoodlink web site. Here your posts are published as soon as you submit them.

This is a powerful feature for a chat site, as it allows the moderators to move or link posts to multiple Topics.

There is another feature that offers, which allows you to control the Topics various users can post to. OHAN.org has a forum with that feature. I like it.

One of other things I suggested, was the ability for the author of any post to re-edit their own post. Here we can only remove a post, but posting again, with corrections, ends up taking a long time (10+ minutes in most case) and you can't put the updated post back where it came from. That is part of the reason we have multiple posts on this web site.

The most important feature I would like to see added, however, is a decent spell checker. Adding HTML code support would be next on my list of wants for Neighborhoodlink.com to add.
