Facts About OUR Pool

Circle C homeowners paid the following amount of Swim Center Operational Expenses and Swim Center Capital Improvement:

2003 $316,401
2002 $256,192
2001 $261,329

The Association/homeowners had only received the following amount from the swimming team:

2003 $42,894
2002 $10,100
2001 $ 6,564

I can understand the frustration of most of the homeowners especially since they pay more than 1/4 million dollars for the swim center maintenance but are not be able to use the whole pool for recreation.

I can also understand the frustration of the swimming team members for paying their fair market fees of joining the Longhorn Aquatics but being so unwelcome by all the other homeowners.

Here is the root of the problem:

GREEDINESS by the Developer and the old Board

(1) The Developer transferred the pool to the homeowners to let us maintain the pool.
(2) The Developer and the Board bring in the swimming team to line up their own pockets.

Correction of the Above Post

I received an e-mail from someone stating that:

2003 income from swim team contract was 30,000.

The other amount was income from other extra events
