O'Reilly and Rigsbee threaten Circle C candidate.

After the last candidate forum, this week, O'Reilly and Rigsbee made a B-Line toward one of the candidates immediately at the end of the meeting. The candidate asked me not to reveal his name.

As the candidate said in an email to me. ''They were telling me that my figures were wrong and that I want to make sure of my facts before I say things or I can be SUED.''

Rigsbee stated, ''It is very important to make sure of your facts as a board candidate so you don't get sued''?  That is when the candidate showed them a printout with the facts. The page was from the Child development centers web page. It states that $1,000, from the sale of each home goes to the Child Development Centers building. The candidate told O'Reilly and Rigsbee that he could call the CDC and ask them to correct the website if it was wrong.

O'Reilly and Rigsbee also complained about other facts the candidate reported. The candidate got the figures directly from the CCHOA income and expense sheet.

The candidate told me ''It was not pretty. I felt threatened, that's for sure.''

$1,000 of Circle C Child Care


Here are the facts:

(1) Please read your house purchase settlement statement Page. 2 at the bottom ?– H.O.A. Transfer Fee, Circle C Child Care $1,000
(2) This amount was charged to the home buyers indirectly through the builders.
(3) This $1,000 was OUR hard-earned money.

I was told that Circle C Child Care Development is a non-profit (tax exempt) business. However, I was also told that Circle C Child Care Development is one of the most expensive child care centers in South Austin. I am planning to do an investigation on it.

If I ever find out that Circle C Child Care Development is a very profitable business but claimed as a non-profit business, I will definitely report this finding to our beloved Uncle Sam.

I just love helping Uncle Sam to collect more taxes since our country has such a big deficit. What a good citizen am I?
