It's been a few years now, since Betty's husband was diagnosed with cancer. Betty's daughter and son-in-law sold their home and business in Connecticut to be with Mr.Beasley. They uprooted the grandchildren and transplanted them here so they could actually surround the Beasley's with compassion. They gave up a lot do this but I think they would do it all again for the love of family. The Schaffrath's have always been there for Betty. As Betty's health has failed, they have taken on all aspects of her care, financial, legal and day-to-day decisions.

Could you do the same? Not unless you understand the meaning of the word and know how to act on it. The Beasley's obviously did a wonderful job of childrearing. Jim's parents must have communicated this to their son, as well.

_gee, I thought that Jim was taking poetic license when he wrote something along those lines.

It's kind of hard to verify that at this point. At any rate, I think that he was exercising his right to free speech.
