  • Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor
When I have had questions or concerns regarding my neighborhood, Denise Nordstrom has done everything in her power NOT to be of any assistance. I have always been polite and kind when I have contacted her by phone or email. Denise has promised on numerous occasions to return my calls, then she does not. Denise either ignores my emails or she averages 2-3 weeks to respond. Only after sending a follow-up email or calling back do I get any response. When she does respond, she has been unhelpful and short with me. This concerns me greatly. My concerns were valid and expressed in a very appropriate way. I was wondering if anyone else had had any similar experiences with her.
Problems with Denise

I have had problems with Denise as well. In November of 2001 I contacted her by phone about installing a street sign at Eclipse (at La Crosse). It is not that it was damaged or hard to read, it was not there at all.

Denise assured me that the sign would be installed directly. Well, that sign was installed in December 2002. Only 13 months and around forty phone calls, thirty emails, and thirty or so visits to the Slaughter office.

Yeah, she is a piece of work, lots of excuses, no follow up, argumentative, and rude. Favorite line from her during the process- ''What's your deal with wanting the street sign put up so fast? Is your house on fire right now?''

unprofessional nasty attitude

Denise Nordstrom's unprofessional nasty attitude motivated me to spent the past year reporting the conflicts within our HOA. She rarely answers a question head on. Shockingly, she is even rude to a handicapped neighbor, who asked for handicapped parking.

Denise is just one of the many people put in place by Bradley, Bartlett and Rigsbee without competitive sealed bids. There's a lot of housecleaning to do when the new directors get into office.

About 3 months ago, I caught Denise red handed using an anonymous post, as if she was a resident. She is not.

I caught her again today. When I notified her today via email (of her being an issue on this discussion board), she accused me of making the 2 posts before this one. That is not true. The subject head of the email I sent here read: ''huh''.

Within minutes, the words ''huh'' were used in the post below this one, with the username ''annonemus246''. Denise is annonemus246. Is this the kind of person we want ''managing'' our HOA?
