The bylaws amendments draft is now available at the following website:

http://blueovalparts.com/amend.htm

In writing these proposals, the committee considered dozens of emails from neighbors with their ideas and suggestions. The committee work was just the starting point, though. You as residents need to take ownership of these core documents, study them and make your own suggestions or decisions.

CHOA Article VIII of the Articles of Incorporation ''...The power to alter, amend or repeal the bylaws or to adopt new bylaws shall be vested in the members, but such power may be delegated by the members to the Board of Directors.''

CCHOA Article XII, Section 1 of the Bylaws: ''These By-Laws may be amended, at a regular or special meeting of the members, by a vote of a majority of a quorum of members present or by proxy...''

IMPORTANT: Email the Board of Directors at info@ circlecranch.com and tell them you insist a special meeting is called for the members to vote on these amendments as soon as possible.

Thank You

Thanks a whole lot for posting the amendments. For some reason, the information center refused to provide me with a copy of these until the BOD first had a chance to look at them. Go figure.......

Bylaws amendments vote

Neighbors,

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town on business, and unable to attend the next Board of Directors meeting. I hope some of you will attend, if you're available to. The Board needs to hear from us about a needed special meeting, so CCHOA members can vote on the Bylaws amendments draft.

The Board meeting is to be held this Tuesday, 9-23-2003, 8:00 AM at the Swim Center office. And, it looks like they're offering free Breakfast Tacos.

If you are unable to attend, E-mail the Board of Directors at info@ circlecranch.com and insist on a special meeting for the members to vote on these amendments.

Thank You

Steve, you've been LIED to.

Steve Urban,

The Info Center has lied to you.

The fact is, the BOD has seen the Bylaws draft MANY WEEKS AGO.

There's a copy of it out there that Ken Rigsbee himself has handwritten side notes on. I've heard the notes are a ''real interesting'' read. One of his embarrassing comments were something about how he'd ''rather put a shotgun to his head'' than let one of the amendments happen. Has anyone told these 3 guys that they're there to represent the members, not themselves?

Maybe we'll see it posted here soon, if the BOD doesn't call a special meeting. They set the committee in motion....let's do the town hall as planned.

As per our own governing documents, it's the majority of the quorum of the residents at a special meeting who are clearly in charge of the bylaw amendments. Call the special meeting BOD.
