15 minutes?...That's rich.

Neighborhoodlink is a great free service...but without traffic, a neighborhoodlink site is useless. The fact is, 99% of all neighborhood link sites are dead.

About 15 months ago I designed and sent out a postcard to every home in Circle C with the anouncement of Circle C's first community discussion board at the circlec.cc web address. I created a solution to pay for that communications and postage. A year ago, I set up monthly free pizza promotions with Circle C Cafe and circlec.cc to help drive traffic to the site. Over a 4 month period I collected 1,000 email addresses to remind neighbors of Circle C's new site with regular bulk email. At it's peak we had 100,000 hits in one month in the discussion area.

With the help of dozens of neighbors and attorney Bill Gammon, our neighborhood used this site as a tool to expose the conflicts of interest within our CCHOA's 1.5 million dollar annual budget. The 3 BOD were not responsive to homeowners and did not follow Texas law on any of the past 15 years elections. They also ignored our governing documents. We fought the 3 BOD to keep them from fixing the 2003 election. We went to court for a number of days. We spoke to news reporters. We expanded our 3 board members to 7. We helped elect 6 of the 7 current board members. We pushed 6 of the 7 BOD to sign a code of ethics. I'm confident those new board members will do some great work for Circle C within the coming months. Where were you Chris Minton? It's been a busy 15 months.

You simply refuse to see the point that you have abused your ''power'' as an admin of this website. Obviously ''Ronnie'' feels like you have done him wrong - but as long as your feel you have upheld your moral ground, then sleep well. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on that issue.

I can't believe you got so upset that ''Ronnie'' challenged you to follow up your convictions to the environment by getting a hybrid or electric automobile. Surely your cars put more pollution into the environment than a gas mower used in your backyard once a week.

Regarding all the work you have done to attract people to this site, honestly sounds like an obsession. I prefer golf, hanging out with my friends & family, and travel. But each to their own...
