This evening, I removed 2 posts that I thought had become too personal. They included the name of a minor - the young daughter of a poster.

While there were no specific threats and nothing that violated the official web site Terms & Conditions, I felt that the parent of the child had a valid complaint and concern.

Just last summer, one of our Circle C Ranch parents received a horrible death threat against their own children. This does happen in the real world and that behavior is a crime. This web site is not intended for kids and they don't need to be included in discussions or identified by name.

Sure, we all want the neighborhood to be ideal and safe for all of your kids, and that is a valid goal.

However, this chat site covers many different subjects, and it's perfectly appropriate to name public figures (that includes business owners, employees, managers, politicians, and the directors of corporations).

Your comments, criticism, praise, and questions are always welcome here. But, please try to focus your overall contributions towards a solution. Endless complaints are simply boring. Keep crying ''Wolf'' and you only hurt the noble cause this web site provides.

Kudos?’ to the lionhearted leaders and public figures, volunteers, and CCHOA committee members.

It also takes a lot of courage and commitment to volunteer to manage a non-profit corporation. And, I do not think that it is a whole lot easier to work on the staff of such an organization. After a while, it begins to feel like the complaint department. I think you have to have a pretty thick skin to put up with the endless complaints, and very, very few constructive suggestions.

So, I'd like to encourage everyone one to continue to post their opinions, but please, try to offer something more - like an idea on how improvements can be made!

Monitor the CCHOA web site at least once a week. Read the newsletters. An please vote ! There are issues that hit you in the pocket book, and the vast majority of you never bother to vote. Voting activity in Circle C Ranch give your CCHOA board the clout they need to get the polititician?’s attention. It?’s the very least you can do to make things better.

I don?’t care how you vote, just get off your butt and go do it. Early voting has already started !!!

Toll Roads are coming to our neighborhood ?– right out there on Mopac !!

The school bond will come up in September, and if we don?’t turn out in droves, we may loose the funds to build that new Middle School your kids will need in a 3-6 years (otherwise, they are going to be bused all over south Austin).

Thank you, and please continue to share your thoughts and ideas, anonymously or otherwise.
Joe Slapak started it

It was Joe Slapak who first brought up on this message board that his daughter is a student at the CDC. Then he goes and cries about it when somebody (a teacher there) comments on that fact.

Joe Slapak Lacks Logical Sense

Up to this day Joe Slapak still thinks I was the one creating all these posts about Kerri Baker.

How could anyone who has never been at the CDC and who has never been working at the CDC and who has no friends working at the CDC know so much about CDC's inside information?

Mr. Slapak:

Do you have ANY logical brain cells?
