I have arranged a town hall meeting for Tuesday, May 4th, 7-9 pm at Kiker Elementary School (5913 La Crosse Ave.) in the cafeteria. TxDot and the Regional Mobility Authority will be presenting their toll road plan and should provide valuable information.

William Cannon overpass PROMISED as a Freeway

Mr. Daugherty,

Thank you for your response and for the opportunity for Circle C to voice it's opinion on the Toll Road matter at Kiker this Tuesday. It's concerning that something as important as a Toll Road at Circle C's front door, as you put it, ''is moving very quickly''.

The MOPAC overpass of William Cannon was scheduled as a Freeway by TXdot since the year 2000. Mopac Construction work on the overpass began as a Freeway on 10/15/03 with our tax dollars ready to pay for it. We've been promised this Free access overpass for many years. Many of us bought homes here in Circle C knowing that the State had the William Cannon overpass planned as a Freeway, NOT as a Toll. Changing that promise, while it's actually under construction, is disingenuous.

We will listen to you Tuesday, but will you listen to us? Will a resounding ''NO TOLL for William Cannon overpass'' from Circle C make a difference with TXdot & CTRMA's plan?
