See!

Wow, 19 responses to a posting about landscaping. What this goes to show you is that people should care about the landscape that they pay for. It is by far the biggest budget item in the HOA and should be cause for constant vigilance on our part. I am seriously working towards improving the landscape here in the subdivision by making constructive comments to the landscaper and the board, and volunteering for commitees. Their responses have been timely and informative, and I look forward to working in the future to make improvements under any circumstances. That said, there is no easier way to discourage other well intentioned people reading this discourse by making suppositions or offensive posting about myself or anybody on the board or the landscaper (see various responses to my last post).
You really do care!

12 of the 19 were from the same two people...Sal and Birdlover...so what does this really show?

You are correct about people making suppositions and offensive postings about people that are trying to help solve discourse, the Board, and the Landscaper. There is no reason for the belittling that goes on.

I think you are again correct about making constructive suggestions. There are ways to go about making them and you seem to know how to get along with all.

I think you really care about improving things around here and I don't think you are just making accusations to cause a ruckus...like some like to.

Thanks for your insight!
positive input

I beg to differ w/ the Longtime homeowner who said that the reason I post is to bitch about the landscaping and be negative. I do state my opinion about the way I SEE THINGS but I am also trying to share ideas about improving the landscaping. Trust me, I have a lot better things to do then bitch and complain about things in CCR especially since NOTHING WILL CHANGE ANYWAY AS LONG AS THE GOOD OLD BOYS ARE IN CHARGE When I was a BOD, (VOTED IN) I WAS IN CHARGE of the landscaping also. So that is also why I have interest. Of course we spoke w/ other homeowners for their input. Besides all of that WHAT HOA GIVES SOMEONE THE CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPING WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT OTHER CONTRACTORS RESUMES AND BIDS? Especially when she is connected w/ the BOD? Also, nothing personal against Susan Hoover but she is NOT a landscaping expert AND neither am I!
