It was exciting to see the city's response to the recent snow emergency, with snow removal on the side streets of Detroit!!! It's been a long time coming back. Too bad we weren't expecting it, because there were MANY vehicles parked on the street. This resulted in snow removal down the center of the streets only. Now that we know what to expect, perhaps we can move our cars OFF THE STREET next time to allow for better clearing??? My driveway is available for use by my immediate neighbors who might not have space to move their cars - I'm SOOOO READY to participate and help this thing work.
