Crime Watch Warning - Important

Posted in: Tropical Shores
The message below is from the Buena Vista Neighborhood Association warning. Please make yourself familiar with this information and share it with your neighbors so we can all stay safe. If you see anyone matching the description below in our neighborhood, please contact the SPPD immediately.

There is a police report of a couple, male and female, in our
neighborhood, going door to door asking for help because they said they
were in a car accident. When refused help at one neighbors house they
became threatening but ran off when the victim threatened to call the
police.

This incident just happened earlier today so they could still be around.

This sounds just like the incident that happened a few weeks ago in
Historic Kenwood where the couple broke into the house when the victim
opened the door. In the Kenwood incident the couple first met the
victim outside when he arrived home. They asked for help but he wasn't
able to give it to them and then they became biligerant. Then they
knocked on his door after he went inside and when he opened the door
they forced their way in. They beat up the victim and stole his wallet
and used his credit cards shortly after.

These people are not to be messed with.

Male: white mid-50's, 6 feet tall, wearing a grey hooded jacket.
Female: white, 45ish, blonde, 145 lbs., medium build
