We live on 168th St, and the owner of said dog lives somewhere behind us on 168th Terrace/Pl (not sure which one that is). Every morning my family wakes up to incessant, yappy barking. I could understand if it was just for a few minutes, or if there was an intruder, but that is not the case. This dog starts at 7 something in the morning and continues until 8:30 or 9 in the morning.

I have kids, who like to sleep in, and I am a mom who would like to sleep with their schedule but none of us can because of the crazy dog! We ourselves have a small dog, who tends to get on the yappy side...but I bring her inside out of respect for the neighbors. Please, please, PLEASE show mutual respect by not letting your dog bark, without ceasing, for hours at a time.

I live on 168th St and the dogs you speak of are on both ST and TERR. The locations of the barking dogs are known. What can be legally done is not known. However, one of the homes is residence to 4 dogs, which is against the covenant. Without a legal recourse which Forces a person to change their behavior, this is merely a complaint dead end. We need a Woodvine Support Group where we can show up and openly complain knowing that nothing can be done. I would be a charter member.
