While Lt. Mack assures me that Daybreak continues to be safe overall, there are still little things that do occur which I want to report. Some incidents noted were sheds being broken into, theft from cars (mostly left unlocked-items stolen out of them) and a few cases of items being taken from open garages.
Lt. Mack cautions us to be aware- if you are out back mowing or barbequing, close your garage doors. This is by far the best deterrant for crime- don't give them opportunity! Also, keep cars locked- even when in your driveway, and also lock all doors and windows of your home. If y ou have an alarm system- know how to use it and ACTIVATE it when you leave!!!
Also, did you know---- While on vacation you can make arrangements for Bartlett officers to patrol by your home- it's easy- go onto www.cityofbartlett.org and follow the directions- only takes a minute to do!
Call me if you have any questions or concerns--- attend our next meeting
NOVEMBER 27th @ Milano's Pizza 6:30 pm
See you there, Tammy
