2) SPRING BUSINESS MEETING

On May 12 Metro Police Sergeant Connie Tripp spoke on safety. Among his tips: if someone is pointing a gun at you, run away quickly in a zigzag pattern; if asked for your wallet, throw it away from you and run; if you are being carjacked, give up your car. You can always replace a car, but you can never replace another YOU! Also, Park Smart! Lock your vehicle, secure your valuables and take keys with you.

The following officers were elected for staggered 2?– and 1-year terms:

Treasurer: Kathy Felts, Park Terrace (2) Steering Committee Member-At-Large: Donna Crawford, Battlefield (1)
Steering Committee Member-At-Large: Sherrie Moseley, Clifton (2)

Congratulations to our new officers! And many thanks to those individuals who have served to keep our neighborhood association up and running for ten years, including Suzy Ward, Jonathan Kasper, Sandi and Bill Hackney, Barb Short, and Lisa Milburn.
