Residential City Code Violations

Recently there were two homes in Beachwood that were cited by Code Enforcement for violations. Both homes had unsecured fences to the backyard pools containing unsanitary water. One of the rental homes was missing the garage door which led to intruders using the home for unlawful activities. The city issued a warning to the homeowners and allowed time to correct the violation(s). If not corrected by the deadline, the city contacted the owners again. The ultimate result, if not corrected, can lead to contractors, hired by the city, boarding up the home until arrangements are made to correct the code violations.
