The meeting with Officer Cheryl Perez was informative. June and July typically have a higher crime rate of home burglaries. Keep garage doors down and car doors locked. The police dept. schedules extra patrols during the summer months. Officer Perez encouraged us to call 630-0500 when we need police assistance. Please try to give a detailed description of any suspicious individual you see in the area. Also, get the name of the person taking the call and note the time you placed the call for future reference.
