Car Crash Levels Palm Tree

On the morning of April 19th, an out of control vehicle ran over the landscape rocks at Beach-wood Blvd. and Surfwood Ave. and crashed into a palm tree. The accident also damaged the irrigation pipes to the 1st island. However, some very helpful neighbors came to assist in the cleanup. One shut off the water supply. More neighbors came with a chainsaw and tools to cut up the palm tree, clean up broken glass and sweep up all the debris. Another volunteer helped to repair the damaged water pipes. We want thank the volunteers who willing gave their time on Saturday & Sunday!
