As winter gives way to spring, we will soon be enjoying new growth on the trees, bushes, and plants in the neighborhood. This makes this a good time to remind everyone to keep your plants, flowers and grass cut back so people can walk up and down the sidewalks of Beachwood unhindered. Edging the lawn grass lessens the likelihood of a tripping hazard and trimming back the bushes, plants, and palm fronds keeps people from getting poked in the eye. Even if you do not use your sidewalks, there are those who do, so please be considerate, trim back your plants, and don't force people to walk on your lawn or in the streets. Thanks.
Also, as much as it is possible, please do not park cars and other vehicles in your driveways across the sidewalks so people and kids on bikes may pass. If we all take an extra moment to think of others this will be a better place for all of us.
