Nobody likes being told what to do. Each person?’s home is their castle, right? Well, did you know that there are some easy things you can do to keep the city of Jacksonville?’s code enforcement officers from coming into the neighborhood?
No, we?’re not talking about putting up barricades and sentries at the entrance to the eighborhood. All it takes to keep code enforcement officers out of the neighborhood is doing simple things like keeping lawns mowed, not having junked cars visible in driveways, keeping pools properly fenced so little children can?’t accidentally fall into them, and the like.
The city of Jacksonville has laws on the books that apply to all neighborhoods in Jacksonville. To enforce these laws, there are city officers who respond to complaints and patrol the city looking for violators. Let?’s not give them any reason to come into Beachwood. Instead let?’s all be considerate of our neighbors and take care of our own places so well that they won?’t have any reason to come here.
To find out more about what the city of Jacksonville requires of homeowners, call the city?’s Code Enforcement office at 630-1212 (ext. 3808) for information or 630-4957 to register a complaint. Together, we can make Beachwood the best place to live in Jacksonville!
