2nd Meeting with Jax. Parks Staff-Thursday, Feb 12-6:30 PM

Feb 04, 2009

Ms. Colleen Dwyer, Development Coordinator, advised the responses to the RFP (Request For Proposals) have been received. Two of the six centers currently closed did not receive responses: Ft. Caroline Club and Beachwood. Therefore, Jax. Parks division plans to re-announce the RFP soon. In the meantime, the staff wants to meet with us to discuss the specific types of after school activities we want offered at our center. Would your children/
teenagers like activities such as ping pong, horseshoes, volleyball, arts & crafts, movies, and homework assistance? These are just a few ideas for starters. Now is your chance to make your suggestions count! The meeting is very important to the Jax. Parks staff and to the youth living here in Beachwood. A HIGH number of parents and teenagers at this meeting would convey our sincere desire to have the center open for after school activities.
