Was on the news today. If you have a heavy foot it will cost you big! Florida has increased citations 5 times what they were 6 months ago. A speeder going 87 mph was 200 and some dollars-now over 500.00 ticket. Be careful! Those who like to pop wheelies on motorcycles-1100.00 fine. Seems Florida is trying to recoup some lost income. They are now offering officers overtime for the weekend to ramp up speeding patrols. Some officers are declining saying they don't want to be the ones giving a family person a 500.00++ ticket which for some is half a rent or house payment. I'll take my time getting to my destination!

I take my time driving, have been for many years now. I now take my time to keep 360 aware of drivers all around me. I see at least one young driver swerving in and out of lanes, trying to get ahead of every driver they can and speeding to do it. Then I have to laugh when I see later on this driver pulled over and getting his ticket for the day. I get a kick when someone lets me in front of them.
